Joshua is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in San Diego, California. Joshua obtained his Bachelors in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Biola University. Joshua has a background in working with individuals, children, couples, families, and individuals from religious backgrounds.

Joshua works with clients where they are with a client-centered, systems theory perspective. Josh has worked in the areas of depression, anxiety, addiction, couple’s/family conflict, childhood trauma, and life adjustment difficulties. Joshua utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Family Therapy, inner child work, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Josh works with clients on the root causes of problems towards internal transformation rather than simply eliminating or reducing their current symptoms.
