Grace Kim is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor practicing remotely in Southern California. Grace obtained her B.A. in Psychology from UC Berkeley, her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Medical Family Therapy from Fuller Seminary, and an M.Div from Talbot School of Theology.
Before becoming a therapist, Grace spent 10 years serving as a ministry worker and pastor in local churches and nonprofits, working with individuals and families across the lifespan and participating in international mission work. These experiences shaped her passion for integrating faith and mental health care. She takes an individualized, integrative approach, drawing from RT, EFT, psychodynamic, experiential/IFS, and CBT modalities. She works with children, teens, adults, and couples, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, identity and life transitions, relationship and family issues, medical/chronic health concerns, trauma, grief and loss. Grace sees it an honor to provide a safe space for each client to process all of life’s difficulties and to carry the burdens of life together, so clients are seen, known, and empowered to grow.
